Economics
COURSE OBJECTIVE: Economics covers all aspects of life. As such a proper understanding of this subject will enable the student to comprehend much of how the world works. This is a survey course and as such will cover both Micro and Macro. Saving and investing as part of personal finance will be stressed. Critical thinking and decision making skills will be encouraged as students will be expected by the conclusion of the course to be able to demonstrate an understanding of monetary and fiscal policy as well as how supply and demand interact in various markets.
